Presenter’s Overview

Last year I made it a point to promote and join AffiniTea Run – Raise d’Roof because of its beneficiary, which was Tahanan ng Pagmamahal. This year is no different. Another institution is going to be the lucky recipient of some portion of the proceeds of this fun run. For this year, it will be Grace to be Born, “a ministry dedicated to saving the unborn from abortion, providing sanctuary to unwed pregnant mothers in crisis, and temporary shelter for abandoned babies.”

Billed Brown Race, this year’s edition centers around the theme of nationality and love for ones country. It gives special thrust on being proud of ones heritage and for being Filipinos thereby “empowering them to achieve great things in life.”

As an added highlight to this race, there will be bands playing nationalistic songs from 3 am until 4:30 am. Those waiting for their respective gun starts can watch and enjoy this mini concert. These bands are local upcoming ones who are good and world-class.

Solo Early Bird Registration (August 29 – September 4, 2014)

This is the 10K Finisher Medal that I took a picture of.  The size of which I estimated to be around 2.5″. The 16K medal the organizers promised will be a bit bigger measuring 3″.
